El origen de Clemente de Agramonte, progenitor de una familia cubana
Clemente de Agramonte made a probanza regarding his lineage in Madrid on July 20, 1587 in order to go the the indias . This document never specifies that he is going to Cuba, but based on his name and the time period it is certain that this is the same Clemente Agramonte who founded the Agramonte lineage in Camagüey. These informaciones are recorded in the notary books of Francisco Suárez.
